|QUICK LINKS||M.V.C.G.s logo was designed for us by a local artist and
calligrapher, the late Edwin Turnbull.
The images combine our interest in and concern for both the built environment and the natural environment.
The upper graphic represents the chimney arcade on Bishopsworth Manor House. The Manor House is a Grade II* listed building in the heart of old Bishopsworth village. The house was splendidly restored by the previous owners, Denis and Lotte Bristow, and the chimney arcade is believed to have been inspired by Vanburghs Kings Weston House.
The lower graphic symbolises the Malago Stream which runs through the area and which we have taken to represent all the neighbourhoods in BS13 Bedminster Down, Bishopsworth, Hartcliffe, Headley Park, Highridge and Withywood.
